Our Forthcoming Production is Performed in October/November 2008 BRONTË by POLLY TEALE A compelling literary detective story about how three Victorian spinsters created some of the most erotically-charged literature of all time. 'Teale dramatises the point where inner and outer world collide, so we feel the contrast between the daily life of the women and the passionate nature of their writing' FINANCIAL TIMES. Premier: Lyric Theatre, Hammersmith 2005. THE STORY It is 1845. Branwell Brontë returns to the parsonage in Haworth in disgrace, having lost his job as a tutor after an affair with the mistress of his employer. As he descends into alchoholism and insanity, his sisters, Charlotte. Anne and Emily, go on writing their extraordinary novels, scenes from which punctuate the play, illuminating their lives..... Directed by Yves Green. Produced by Helen Farrar with Movement Director Christine Harvey. The Archbishop Sancroft High School, Harleston at 7:30pm.

Wartime – and Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy are four children evacuated to the country house of an old professor. Whilst playing hide- and-seek, Lucy passes through the back of an old wardrobe, and discovers the magical land of Narnia, where the White Witch has seized power over the fauns and beavers and mythical creatures and has cast an evil spell making it always winter, but never Christmas. The children soon discover that they must seek out the magnificent Lion Aslan, and together set out on their perilous quest to destroy the witch and her minions, and free Narnia from her glacial spell.
