If you enjoy going to Harleston Players’ shows and would like to have more of a connection with the group, or just show your support for what we do, why not become a Friend? Simply put, Friends pay for their seats in advance – an annual subscription of £25 (or £20 concessions) entitles you to a free ticket to each of our three main shows. Membership runs from March 1st to Feb 28th/29th each year – if you want to join part way through the year a reduced rate is possible. Once you join, your name goes on a list at all ticket outlets to guarantee your free ticket, and you can buy them a little earlier too!
There are additional bonuses to being a Friend. If you like to get involved in productions you pay a reduced production fee (£15 instead of £20) and you are kept informed of theatre trips, workshops and social events.
We regularly organise trips to Norwich Theatre Royal, in 2017 we saw The Woman in Black, The Play That Goes Wrong and Beautiful. So far in 2018 we are booked to see The Band, Fat Friends the Musical and Jersey Boys. Suggestions from Friends for shows or social events are always welcome.
Message from Friends’ Secretary
“Harleston Players prides itself on being a positive, dynamic and creative part of community life in the Waveney Valley. As well as our regular productions you will also see us supporting local events and charities. In recent years we have raised money for the Ebola Crisis appeal, Comic Relief, Breast Cancer Research, Leukaemia & Lymphoma research and Sue Ryder. If you enjoy being part of a community, becoming a Friend of Harleston Players gets you involved.” For more information, or if you’d like to become a Friend, contact Pat Parris.
