Harleston Players Youth Theatre Company
Harleston Players Youth Drama project was set up in
September 2004 by:
David Cumming (Harleston Players Chairman) and
Meryl Keeble (Director/Course leader).
The aim of the group is to reach out to children aged between the ages of 10 to 18 years old.
The project welcomes children from all backgrounds and does not exclude any child from participating.
Harleston Players Youth Theatre Company is approaching their eighth year. In the past we have had excellent productions of Cinderella, The Snow Queen and The Jungle Book to name a few and many of our members have gone on to participate in the adult productions as well as the Januray shows and have even joined other local companies.
They have just enjoyed their latest success with their Autumn production of Goldilocks and the Three Bears. There was such a range of talent and fun was had by all.
The next production is to be a lovely adaptation of Winnie the Pooh and the group will be performing in March.
Of course we are also looking for new members, so if you would like to be involved as a performer or on the backstage crew, do come along to the next Youth Theatre session.
