We are holding auditions for our next play - All Aboard! by Eileen Ryan - on Monday 9th and Thursday 12th March. This will be a large-scale community show, with roles for the confident performer and for those who’d like to join the production as a newcomer. Performances will be on the two middle weekends of July, taking place in or near Harleston. Eileen previously wrote the very successful Mayflower play staged in 2021.
The play brings to life the history of the town between the 1850s and 1960s, when it had a railway. Trains on the Waveney Valley Line ran from Tivetshall and stopped at Harleston Station on their way to Beccles. Come and find out more at our very friendly auditions on 9th and 12th March, 7.30pm - 10pm, at Jay’s Green community centre, Harleston IP20 9ES. No need to prepare a piece. We’ll just be reading a few scenes from the play.
