Our hardy carol singers once again braved the rain and cold to bring some festive carolling to the streets of Harleston, this time as part of the Christmas Lights switch on. Thanks to the generosity of the people of Harleston (and Helen Farrar's skills in arm-twisting), they were able to raise just over £130 for East Anglia's Children's Hospices and Sue Ryder Care - the money will be divided equally between the two charities. Thanks also to Gill Alexander for her expert tuition in harmony singing, which the group very much enjoyed.
