When Sir Charles Baskerville is found dead on his estate, with a look of terror still etched on his face, and the paw prints of a gigantic hound beside his body, the great detective Sherlock Holmes is summoned from Baker Street with Dr Watson in tow…
Packed full of verbal and visual ingenuity this 'wonderfully barking spoof' offers abundant opportunities for riotous comedy and slapstick. With 14 characters played potentially by 6 actors there is plenty of scope for doubling and cross casting as none of the roles are gender specific. The play is written to be played fast and with little reverence.
Rehearsals, on Monday and Thursday evenings, start on 10th November. Performances will be in January 2026.
