This production of ‘The Three Little Pigs’ was devised from a list of key points provided by Meryl to the group, around which they improvised to create our version of the story. This allows the youngsters to explore their own ideas and to enhance their creativity, without being restricted to the constraints of a script.
The group worked well together, enabling them to all be involved throughout the entire performance in some form or another. We continued to explore the possibilities of creating music using “junk instruments”, after our initial workshop with Community Music East in 2007.
