Harleston Players are currently holding auditions for Treasure Island – to be directed by Meryl Raines and performed in January 2016. (Meryl last directed our much-loved production of A Christmas Carol).
In this fresh and thrilling adaptation by Stuart Paterson, you’ll find all the well known characters, from the young hero Jim Hawkins to the infamous, one-legged Long John Silver. We are looking for a cast of pirates and treasure seekers of all ages from 15 to 99 (!), to voyage on the Hispaniola to a distant island. So if you want to be involved - and we are looking for female pirates as well - we'd like to hear from you.
Two auditions have already been held, and a third will take place on Tuesday 22nd September from 7.30pm, in the performing arts suite at Archbishop Sancroft High School.
